We will be taking the Lake Shore Route and stopping at
St. Thomas, a town flodded over when Boulder Dam was
built, and not visible because of the low water level, and
visiting the Lost City Museum where artifacts tell stories of
people who traveled through and lived in southern Nevada
for thousands of years. Archaeologists have worked for
decades to uncover and study these pieces of the past to
give us a glimpse of what life was like for the earliest
travelers and residents in the hot, dry Mojave Desert.
